I went to a yard sale this past Saturday, and found some treasures I think. I ended up with 18 yards of fabric for 17 dollars. I also bought a ziplock bag with two used Holly Hobbie patterns and a bunch of Hollie Hobby fabric. I havn't taken the fabric out to see how much is there, but it looks vintage.

The fabric is mostly Debbie Mumm and Mary Englebright and one Moda. I thought about selling the Queen of Everything and Princess of Quite of a Lot panels, but my husband thinks it would be cute to make something for my grand daughter. I love, love, love the patriotic stuff. I plan to make something, maybe sewing machine covers out of the quilting themed stuff.

I washed it all after I took the picture, and it took a whole day to get it ironed. I am not really a slow ironer, I just did a lot of admiring and caressing of fabric. It is also hard to iron when you keep trying to pay yourself on the back for being such a good shopper, LOL.

You did indeed make a good haul! I went to a garage sale last summer that advertised "fabric for sale" - well, the 2 gals who were running the sale had a house full but were asking prices even higher than the LQS and I knew most of it came from Joann's (being a frequent shopper there). Very disappointing and I noticed very few people were buying. I did get some pillow forms for a good price, but only a little fabric.

What a great haul! The fabric looks really good to me, I bet you had fun ironing it all!
