Recently a friend of mine decided to travel Europe for a few months and then she was moving back to New Zealand. She is newly pregnant, so I wanted to make her a going away gift. I pulled out my Dr. Seuss fabrics since it's not gender specific.

I made this quilt in about 5 hours start to finish. It is about 38x50, which I purposely did so I wouldn't have to piece the back. :) I used a blue polka dot on the back:

The quilting is a meander style that was done on my Longarm machine (Handiquilter 16):

The binding is in the same grey that is on the quilt itself. She really loved the quilt!! I hope she is able to put it to good use once the baby comes. Thanks for looking!! :)

I did put a label on, I usually don't label my quilts (bad I know), but this one I made sure to so it would say where it was made and the year. :)

Very nice! I love the Dr. Seuss prints. I purchased 2 of the Grinch Christmas quilt kits for Christmas presents this year. Gotta get going on them!!!
