Your hearts are beautiful and I love the pansy print. Great job.

Wow thank you all for the lovely compliments. You all have given me such encouragement. I loved this because it was so unusual and suprisingly easy to do so far. But to have all you like it so much really is a nice feeling because I have come to value your advice and opinions.
Once I get the rest of the steam-a-seam2 and the material I ordered it should come together pretty fast. I will post it when I am done.
Thank you all again. I am very flattered.

Teresa:
The heart is made from a 4 fat quarter bundle I brought in JoAnne's. It is that shiny polyester they use in Japanese fabric. It is a true purple with gold butterflies embroidered on it. I thought it went well with the gold running through the batik fabrics in the Dresden Heart and the purple went well with the peacock feather material.
Thank you for the compliment.

Thank you Loretta for the compliment. I am glad you like it. Thanks for coming to take a look.
I still can not get your Asian floral fabric quilt out of my mind. I have been back to look at it many times.
I can't wait to get back to the USA and start fabric shopping. LOL

Gail:
Hi girl thanks for stopping by to take a look. I have missed you.
I love that site she has such great patterns and is so nice to share them for free. You should see the thimble quilt she made. It is spectactular and on that site too.
Since you love the butterflys do them first! You could do their wings in all different materials. Are you still contemplating the puzzle quilt. Ï am thinking I could do the puzzle pieces the same way I am doing the hearts. I am a chicken to try the true paper piecing. I guess because I am so new to quilting. Álthough I did watch a video the other day where the girl uses elmer's glue and starch to do her paper piecing. She made it look easy. Only thing is I can't get freezer paper here.
Write when you can.

Oh-h-h How pretty! I love the colors that you are choosing so far. I hope you have enough to do your shams too. That would be a very nice set.

RedGarnet:
Thank you so much for the compliment. With all the beautiful work I see on this forum it is really nice to hear how many people like the design and fabrics so far. It is very encouraging. This is the first quilt I will be making for myself in a long time (I only have one so far).
I am going to alternate the pink and blue heart blocks. I think I mentioned I just brought a grape and teal batik for the borders front and back and I am using the pansey on the back so the quilt can be reversible. Have to wait until after the 20th for my sister-in-law to get back from Miami with more steam-a-seam and the material. In the meantime I have other things in the works.
I will post the quilt when it is done.
