Love how you fussy cut your print fabric. Makes a very striking Dresden plate. Excellent job.

Thank you so much for posting this picture. I love it.
Dresden Plates are a favorite of mine. I have some of the
print you used. I only have a half a yard and couldn't figure out anything to do with it. Now, I know I'm going to make this beautiful plate for a table runner.

I started cutting out a smaller Dresden Plate with the "Swiss Cheese Looking" leftover fabric.

It took more than a yard to make the original Dresden Plate, so I alternated with the green fabric. I don't know how far you will go with just half a yard. But I am just a beginner quilter. Perhaps I didn't cut well.

That is cute....there will not be a quilt. I am a beginner and this plate was made just to see if I could do it, nothing more. I keep making "ONE BLOCK" to see if I can actually do it. But with all the compliments I've rec'd, I really need to pick a pattern and make a whole quilt. In time, I guess.
