Default Dresden Plate for baby (top)

Good evening everyone. I have been off work all week and working on this Dresden Plate project non- stop.

I made a small trial quilt so I would have enough practice to make the baby quilt. Here is the practice project:

http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...a-t217433.html

Here is the finished Baby Dresden top:

Right now it measures 50 x 50". I will trim the outer border down after I quilt it. Being white I wanted to have some extra area for hands to hold it during quilting.

This quilt is made to the specifications of the mother to be.

The backing will be blue buffalo plaid and binding in red gingham! Just like she wanted.
Enjoy

Love the 30ish fabrics that you used. How cute this quilt is coming out.

I love all the bright colors and how you put them together. It is a lovely dresden plate design for baby.

I love this and I really love how you made the scrappy border with leftover dresden pieces - what a great idea. The mom is going to love this one.
