Rhonda, my bookmark turned out to be 2 3/4 x 8 3/4.

And sign me up for the next class. Maybe I will get better with practice. It seems that my fingers are not as dexterous as they once were. Not to mention that my eyes ain't what they usta be either :)

It is not my goal in life to become a perfect quilt maker, but only to enjoy the journey and get a little better with each project.

Having fun is what it is all about and feeling good about what you accomplished! You can take my classes and make things any size you want to. It is about learning the process! So if the little stuff is too much for you do it with a bigger template!

That looks terrific Brooke!! I love the fabrics. I need to get more into other colors like that. I tend to stay with the dark/light fabrics alot. I wnat to experiment with some more color. I see you sewed the circle on instead of using a fancy stitch around the outer edge! Way to go! I like the secondary pattern you get when you do that.

So what did you think of the process? And be honest. I don't mind any constructive criticism or honest opinions negative or good. That is how I can improve where I need to.

I'm more of a brown tone girl myself, but DD loves the brights so I have plenty of them also.

I thought that your instructions were very easy to understand and love to do this... Its a little easier to do when I have the baby girl crawling all over the place LOL

The circle was fairly easy to do once I figured out how to do the needle down position on my sewing machine (now maybe I would like applique better now, huh). Thanks so much for teaching... I can't wait for the keychain one (if I figure out enough blocks, maybe I can make some potholders like you do.. I LOVE those kinds!

The blocks are all soo easy to do Brooke. This DP is the only one that is even remotely "difficult" and it is more intimidating than actually difficult. And that is only because of the circle. If you got that figured out the rest will look simple to you!
