Here is the quilt I made for my oldest son for Christmas - he is an Eagle Scout and I have wanted to make this for him for many years now. I bought the quilt fabric years ago but never made it because I have two other sons that I wanted to make quilts for also and wasn't sure what I wanted to make them. Well, I found patterns I finally liked and made each of them their quilts for Christmas this year - for this one I appliqued the actual rank patches to the front and for the label I used photos of my son when he was in scouts plus the bible verse "But they that wait upon the LORD
shall renew their strength;
they shall run, and not be weary;
and they shall walk, and not faint.
Isaiah 40:31
