You captured the antique look perfectly and I love the simplicity of it. I just want to curl up with it around my shoulders. Someone is going to be blessed to receive it.

In this day and age, I hesitate to use my full name on charity quilts. Sometimes use first name and city along with date. We never know where these gifts of love will end up. This quilt is lovely and will make receipient happy.

They're fun to cut "wonky" on purpose and deliberately not match up. Besides, if you mean to do it that way----it can look like anything and be fine! I add some plaids and checks to scrap quilts since I love the contrast; that way I don't have to think about everything being matching.

Its beautiful. Charity quilts are the best to practice on. I did that with mine for charity quilts thru my guild. Someone will love them no matter what.
