Default Easter Churn dash with a stack n whack twist

I came across two strips of a cute easter print I had used as backing for a quilt several years back. The strips were about 13" wide and 72" long with 5 repeats in each. I made 16 four patch blocks which I used as the center of the churn dash blocks. The other strip was used in the upper and lower borders to show the original print. All of the fabrics came from my stash, and I completely used up 5 pieces of fabric. Woo hoo! Now I hope to have time to quilt it before Easter. Please excuse the awful phone pics.

That is very clever bring a new technique to the center of an old block design.
