Okay, it's not quilting;; I am SOOO proud I had to show you!!!!
If you've ever thought of recovering a peice of furniture & thought it'd be really hard.. it's not. It does take some patience, but it is EASY.
I took me 12 hours over this weekend to make a slipcover without a pattern for this upholstered rocking chair for my daughter; that includes , measuring, cutting sewing and installing snaps for the closure on the cushion and the back of the chair so it fit snug. I had been wanting to do my love seat for some time and always thought it would be too hard. I bumped into someone's notes on the internet, she suggested breaking the chair down into the different parts, ( arm inside, arm outside; back facing, back rear... etc) measure those , cut to pieces , take your time and sew them together here's the fotos

I forgot to tell you! I used canvas painters tarps. they are inexpensive ( to cover this chair, 2 6'x9' tarps) 20.00. it's all cotton, after you wash them they get really soft, very durable, and I like the oatmeal color.

Fantastic!! Now all it needs is a cozy quilt draped over it! Is this a chair you use in your sewing room?
