    Elvis Quilt

I finally finished this Elvis quilt for my dd who is an Elvis lover. Started out as fabric that I cut all the photos apart and made blocks. Then I Machine Embroidered the song blocks and machine quilted the white blocks. Don't look too close as this was my first time freehand quilting, not too good, but she won't mind. Also stitched in the ditch. It's pinned to the design board dh made for me. Very black and white and it's more vibrant in person. Now she can take it back to NY when she visits this week.

That is a really neat quilt for someone who likes Elvis. I do. I guess it could be done for any star or even a hobby.

That is awesome. I have a music quilt on my to do list in the very near future, before Christmas (hopfully). I found some free music embroidery notes on the web last night. Thanks for sharing, like the idea. Did you do a print and press wit the photos?

    Very cool!

Thank you all for your kind comments. The fabric already came with the photos on it. I just cut them apart and made blocks, most of which are log cabin blocks. I generally NEVER quilt with Walmart fabric, but that is who where I found it before they stopped selling fabric. Hopefully, it will launder OK.
