This lap quilt is a gift for a cousin coming for a holiday with us in France, late April. Yes, she is Irish! And I know green is her favourite colour.
Its 54ins square and quilted with a variegated green King Tut, with green Bottom Line in the bobbin to show up the quilting on the white back.
Quilted freehand on my 6600 - there are small shamrocks in small dark squares, large shamrock outline in the print squares. I kept the quilting in the borders to a minimum so it remains nice and soft.
Thanks for looking.

Your cousin in a very lucky lady. Beautiful quilt and I love the shamrock quilting - it's the perfect touch - the back is just as gorgeous as the top. And I must say how impressed I am that you have completed your project so far in advance!!! You are certainly more organized than I am.

Beautiful! Your quilting just gets better and better. And I've got an ad at the bottom of my page for 'Irish Leprechaun Green Party Dye for use in your fountain or pond'!

Well I must say SharonAnn the idea to make my cousin a quilt was there - but no plan, then I fell over the shamrock fabric and just knew what to do with it!
