Cute quilt! If it is only in that one spot, it isn’t very noticeable. Whatever you try to remove it with watch it doesn’t bleach the colour out of the backing. I think I would leave it alone.

Hairspray will take out sharpy ink. Spray liberally, blot, spray blot then rinse well.

Fun and fantastic quilt with a lovely story. Please write it down for your DD and put in a memory book so she can remember it too.

It's the alcohol in the hairspray. You might try just that and blotting before going to the sanitizer or Oxy clean.

Darren, I can't imagine a more festive quilt for Emmaline to sleep under! It's adorable.
I was going to suggest Dawn because it seems to get everything out but I think the others may have given you
better ideas.
Precious quilt!!!

Love your binding. I have pieced them before and love the effect!

Rubbing alcohol takes out sharpie but it looks to me like some of the ink imbedded in the thread. I have never had success getting any kind of marking tool out of thread and resorted to ripping it out and requilting the offending area. Your results may vary.

What a beautiful quilt and you did wonderful with the quilting. I had to go back and look twice to find the sharpie mistake. As others said, alcohol may be your best option. Good luck!

Beautiful quilt.

I use Mr. Clean Erasers to remove Sharpie from my plastic templates.
