Default Emmaline's Halloween quilt

We have had a stash of Halloween fabric waiting patiently for its turn for eight years: Halloween fabric . When Emmaline saw it recently she asked us why we haven't made a Halloween quilt. We pulled them out for her to look at and she loved them, especially the glow-in-the-dark ghosts! Since part of our Halloween involves a movie night of watching Hocus Pocus, we decided to make three quilts for us to use while we watch it this year. I finished Emmaline's tonight. She is asleep so she'll see it tomorrow.

We bought these fabrics early in our quilting journey. If we came across them today we would probably leave them because they are so thin. But they do make a fun quilt.

I tried to get a shot of the glowing ghosts.

She also loves the purple kitties.

The back is a spooky graveyard. The last time we were at Joann they had some of this.

The quilting pattern is Shazam and we bought it at www.urbanelementz.com .

Binding - I Hate when the binding comes out this way. I'm too lazy to pick out a section and change the length.

Thanks for looking.

What kid wouldn't love that! Did you use the Yellow Brick Road pattern?

Yes we did. We always seem to go back to it. It’s a great pattern when you want to showcase the fabrics.

What a fun quilt, and love your tradition of watching Hocus Pocus together!

That’s a super cute quilt! I used the purple kitty fabric in my Halloween wall hanging.
