Very nice quilt! Could I ask how you did the cross-hatching? I've often wondered this..where your white stitching meets an appliqued area of another color, did you stop and pull threads up to bury the knot after each stop or did you shorten your stitch length just prior to stopping or do a tie-off stitch or back-stitch? This is something i really want to understand! I would love to do this but do not have patience if it requires tying and burying hundreds of knots.
