Nice find, for a good price!! Mine is a 1946 in the same Singer #40 Queen Anne cabinet. (There are two Singer cabinets with the #40, the "bent" legs make it the Queen Anne style)

You're going to enjoy that machine a LOT!

Sure looks like it is in good shape to me. I have two featherweights that really need a good cleaning, they both run great and right now that is all I care about. When the weather gets nasty I will tackle cleaning them.

How fun is that!!! Enjoy her, she will give you lots of good sewing. I love my new treadle that I inherited. Good for you she is just lovely!!!!!!
