I have to say that I am not a fan of applique... but I really like your bird houses. They are just lovely.

I do hope that you will be able to find peace with this quilt top - it is just lovely.

While working on your quilt....allow the great memories of your mom to come to you! Look at the memories as a blessing and allow it to help soothe the pain you are still feeling. Maybe....you might even be lucky to feel the presence of your Mom while working on the quilt. Maybe you've waited almost a year for a reason....it takes time. Prayers and hugs to you!
