I'm sorry to hear about your mom. I lost mine two years ago and still miss her greatly. Your quilt is beautiful and I hope it helps bring healing for you.

I'm so sorry about your mom. I bet she's the one pushing you to get it done! 8-) You did a lovely job on it. So much work! I love applique, it's my favorite.

This is an adorable appliqued quilt, You did a wonderful job with it. I'm so sorry to here about your Mother. My Mother also past away last year it will be a year Aug. 2nd.
Evertthing is still so fresh in my mind, I surely understand how you feel.

That is so cute. I love the April one the best but they are all very special. Mom would be very proud of your work and is looking down smiling!

Really cute blocks! I hope getting back to the quilt helps you deal with your grief. We lost our son last June due to colon cancer. His diagnosis was devastating. Getting back into quilting this year (and back working with my local quilt guild) has helped me deal with the grief.

Best wishes to you as you finish your quilt. And, many happy memories of your mother.

Lost my mother also. Quilting does help me & reminds me so much of her. Certain quilts always just look like 'her'.
