    Found these darling, hand-pieced pillow covers in the pillowcase section of a resale shop. I was looking for quilting fabric, not finished beauties!

    They are about 16" square, hand pieced and use reverse applique. They are made into pillow covers for decorator size pillows.

    The four pink squares in the center are 1/2" each.

    Wow, someone put a lot of hard, meticulous work into those. So glad someone who can truly appreciate them snatched them up. I often wonder how such wonderful things end up in the thrift stores and am thankful the original maker doesn't know. Those are exquisite for sure, thanks for sharing.

    That is Hmong embroidery, a type of Chinese handwork. They can get VERY intricate. Google it!

    To my knowledge the Hmong peoples are from Cambodia.
