How big are each of the blocks and strips please I would like to use my scrap for it. Maybe a pattern also please.

very pretty...I love fall colors and have never done a real fall quilt. I must put that on my list of "to do's"!!

That's one great quilt. Love the colors. I always like fall season with changing leaves and your quilt captures that feeling so beautifully.

Beautiful quilt! Those take some brain power.:)

I understand how you feel about our young ones going overseas. It is next to impossible to get ahold of them except by email. My daughter and her friend spent 2 summers ago backpacking thru Europe. They both have been there before so this was their "cathedral" trip. They saw every one they could find. They found internet cafes in the evenings to keep us parents updated. They did have fun but I spent alot of time online watching for emails.!!

The body of the block is 3 1/2" x 3 1/2", then a 2" x 2" alternate color block is sewn on two opposing corners, snowball style. A 2" x 3 1/2" and a 2" x 5" rectangle of leaf color completes the sides. The pattern is from a book called "Tessellations" by Jackie Robininson
