I like how you put those fabrics into such a pretty quilt. The border picks up so many of the colors in the blocks. Nice job

It's lovely and the border picks up all the colors. Nice work on the scalloped inner border!

yes, i love the border fabric too. it's the only thing i like on this quilt. the white flange i inserted was too wide. i had wanted to just fold it over again and stitch down but i didn't want to unstitch it in the corners, so i decided to do it this way. sort of faux cathedral style. like someone on here did with their binding.
later i figured out i could have just folded it all over and stitched it down as i first thought and just had the corners curving where the flanges over lapped. oh well, at least it's done!

That's the exact right description of this little beauty... simple & pretty. The fabrics are so rich-looking. And seeing those pumpkins sure makes me with for fall! This was a great way to "get rid of fabrics laying around"!

Beautiful, beautiful colors. Makes me think of apple cider and early crisp fall nights.

Isn't it great to make neat new things with leftovers? I just love doing that. Beautiful. In fact it would look gorgeous on my beige couch, hint hint. LOL

this is the other Fall colors quilt I did. it's still a top because it was batiks and i found sewing over some seams that I would get a skipped stitch. i may have it quilted by someone else.
I'm about to finish a Wickedly Easy quilt done in greens and oranges. I may use Thermore batting on that one. never used it before. very thin and doesnt' shrink.
