Oh, that's just so horrible for her! Terrible, terrible. Hope she will heal quickly. She'll most likely have lots of physical therapy, too????
The quilt is just beautiful. I love that look and the scrappiness makes it very warm and inviting. Great job.

What a wonderful quilt, and a lovely gift. I'm so sorry about your friend - what an awful accident!! I hope her recovery and rehabilitation goes well. Sometimes horrible life events have very positive outcomes - changes people's perspective on things...My brother lost some fingers in an accident, and I know it did for him. Made him more appreciative of what he has, not what he doesn't have!
