    Default Wild Hair

I got a wild hair and decided to make a lap quilt for a couple at our church who are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.

Why a wild hair? Because I had already created an embroidered table topper. I also decided to do this last week. Silly me.

Their celebration will have many guests so each of the background triangles is white so that anyone may sign or write in it.

This is my first 'large' quilt (67 x 67) on my Horizon machine - it did a great job. I can't say I did a great job because as I was quilting the stitch in the ditch or near the ditch I saw every not quite perfect point!

Lots of prayers sewn into this.

Great quilt! I always try to listen when I am being prompted to do something for others.

The recipients will never see the 'not quite in the ditch' stitches or the 'almost' points, because they will be too busy reading the wonderful things their family and friends will write on this quilt. You have created a wonderfull life sized anniversary card that will be treasured. Well done!
