That is really stunning pumpkin!! I just took a class on Craftsy by Cindy Needham on this type of quilting and your quilt reminds me of what she was teaching. Did you happen to take her class? She'd be so pleased with what you've done. I have a long arm too and seeing this makes me want to hop on my Juki for a little while and make one of my own. But I have some customer quilts to get done first. I recently completed a wholecloth on the longarm and it turned out pretty good, but I'm thinking it might have been easier on the dsm! And I wish I'd watched her class first Anyway, your quilt is just beautiful!!!!!~and I'm sure you can do this on your LA as well. Give it a try

Thank you!!! Your words mean so much!!!

Lin - no I haven't taken one of Cindy's classes but I just adore her work!!! She among many others are a huge inspiration for me. My guild is very small and I don't think we could afford to have her come out and teach - but maybe I'll take one of her Craftsy classes one days!! She has a great wealth of information to share, and is especially knowledgeable about THREAD!!! One of my favorite things.

Love this!
I find if I draw out a design I can produce similar results but am no good at all when I try to free hand it! lol
