Yes it is all done by machine....I had wanted to sew down each blade when quilting it on the background square but that proved to not be satisfactory to my OCD personality so...I just sewed around the outside edge which was a challenge for me. I was asked to do a tute so I will do my best soon. Not sure I am qualified for that but...will share what I did good and bad soon.
