You are about to see my new space. If you are claustrophobic, you might feel a little cramped. LOL. You will see how to pack a lot into a not so large space. I don't have my pegboard hung up yet but everything else is as it is going to stay. You will notice on my drawing table my thread and ribbon holders, which will be hung on the pegboard. I have made an ironing surface that can be used on my drawing table when it is adjusted down flat. For larger ironing needs, I use the back room. In the footwell of the desk you will see a large plastic bag. This holds the strips I have cut for my DGS's quilt which I am ready to start piecing now. A few strips are on the sewing desk beside my lovely new sewing machine!!!

`FQs in a CD holder - you've given me an idea I can use!
Love the way you've maximized use of your space.

Love your sewing/quilting/crafting area! Especially like the fabric storage - is it a display case? You said the glass doors are up and I would love to have something that would keep some of the dust out.

Congrats on your new baby!

I didn't paint the desk. We found it like that at a used furniture store and I fell in love with it.
Check thrift stores for the CD storage units. I got that great wooden one that spins for only $4.99 and the black plastic one was 99 cents. I already had that little wicker bench and it just happened to fit perfectly on top of it.

I have never bought a FQ except those in the basket that I got at Tuesday Morning for very low prices. Way less than a dollar each. Because I deconstruct clothing, pillow shams, cases, etc. I just fold fabrics that are FQ size and put them in the CD cabinets.
