Very pretty quilt, and I can see a lot of squaring up you had to do.

When the end result of all the squaring up is perfect points then it's job well done, on the other hand if then you didn't have matching points that would be a problem. You did a great job and like you said you don't want to ever do that again, at least you can say you did it!
