I don't expect mine to bring in that much, but every little bit helps. I just hope they start the bid at atleast $100.

It better! That is so beautiful! I cannot imagine the time it took to sew all those log cabin squares together!

I assumed it was your hubby! :-)

Thanks for the website!

I hope so. Being on an island in the middle of the Pacific. Ok, I got the Pacific Ocean on one side and the Philipine (sp) Sea on the other, they might not appreciate something warm and cozy, but then again....being military, we do move alot, sometimes.

Well it may not be a juicy love story, but it sure is a worthwhile cause, I take my hat 'off' to you, and enjoyed the mystery while it lasted ....you could have spun it out for a while.....lol!!

I know, I should have let the enquiring minds go for a bit, but nahh...I'm actually a nice person, so I decided to give it up now. :)
Now, I have the FUN part of finishing it off.
Anyone want to help? I have great ocean views/tropical breezes at my house. You'd get your OWN bed, but would have to share it with at least 1 cat. No man around the house to get in the way. He's on "vacation" at the moment. Heck...I'll even cook for you!! Then, if you wanted to take a break, we could walk down to the beach and go for a swim. I have snorkel and dive gear, so we could do that too!
Any takers??
Sorry, you have to provide your OWN plane ticket.

Very nice!!! What a lot of work!! Your quilt should bring in some good bids I'm sure!! I like the effect of doing the log cabin blocks all in one color! I wouldn't have thought of doing that.

Thanks everyone!

I saw a picture of the quilt. Found the instructions to it, printed it all out. 26 pages!! It had me so confused because the colors they used on the directions all ran together and you couldn't tell one color from another. I just decided to do it MY way and go for it. Once I got into it, there was no going back. Half way thru, I started getting bored with it, but kept forging on. Now, the top is done and I'm going to take a break from it for a couple days....do another top or start another top. (I'm thinking maybe of making some crumb blocks because everyone has been talking about them)....then I will pick the heart back up and start the quilting portion of it.

Thanks!
I need to take it over to a friend of mine that goes to these autions all the time to see what she thinks.

I keep losing that pattern for the Hawaiian Shirt, so I printed out about 10 copies and have 2 in my book, one saved to a disk and the others I sent to friends. Now if I ever lose it, I know where I can find it. hehe
