Let us know what your quilt brings. That is intereesting! No matter what it brings it is still priceless and the feeling you have from doing it is priceless also. I love hearing how people donate their works of arts.

Ok, now I'm having the problem of quilting it.
I started to machine quilt it....don't like how it comes out.
I tried hand quilting it....don't like that either.
So, my idea now is to machine embroider little hearts all over it.
OR
Tie it.
I didn't like the machine quilt because I didn't like the white thread showing thru on the red fabric. I know, I could have changed to red, but that's just too much of a bother for me. I'm not that good at machine quilting. I just do the basic.
I could have done red with the hand stitching, which I did, but didn't like it.

So, what do you think???

Oh tlrnhi..I'd love to be on my way and I'd love to help you finish that beautiful quilt..just can't leave hubby at the moment  That is a great quilt and how nice of you to donate it to such a great cause. I'm sure it will bring in a LOT more than 100.00! Best of luck with the auction and I guess I'll just have to dream of that beach 8)

Oh, I am SO THERE! Sounds like paradise! I stink at quilting, but maybe I could cook or clean to earn my keep? Then I'd watch you finish that beauty off. We could make some other tops too! Wonder how much fabric I can pack?
