This is very inspiring. My granddaughter and I have One square probably 16 1/2" with applique bears and trees made to incorporate into a bear's paw quilt for a very special Alaska teacher. The floral prints would add that special touch for such a special lady and the border reminds me of a plant which grows profusely in Alaska. I think it is called fire bush. Now that school is about to be out for the summer we can get back to our quilting and get this one finished. Thanks for the inspiration!!!!!

Your quilt is GORGEOUS! The bear paw is one of my favourite blocks. I love how you alternated the large and the little ones.
