That is beautiful. I love the piano key border. The perfect finish. Great job and thanks for sharing.

Pretty impressive for your first quilt! Heck, it's impressive if it were your 10th quilt. You've done an excellent job with piecing and keeping things straight!! Way to go! Enjoy the quilting process. I'm hand quilting my second pieced top...first time to try that. It's time consuming but I know when I'm done it will feel like quite the accomplishment!

Oh there's mistakes aplenty in this quilt! Hopefully they are mistakes I won't make again! Yes...it may be the only quilt I handquilt, but I just wanted to do it grandma's way this one time. She died last year at 102 and I wish she knew I was doing this.
