I beg to differ. I really like the effect of the B&W in this quilt. So happy and jumpin'. Love it.

I like it! I think that the black and white just "adds to it."

I made Easy Street also and posted pictures in that thread. Also was not sure about the lime green and using that black and white. I thought it was too busy, but I stayed the course - made me work outside my comfort zone color wise. What I really like now is seeing the other colors used. Shows me that any colors would have looked good, just like Bonnie said and next time (yes, I am hooked and will participate again) I will work from my stash and choose colors I am more comfortable with.

Other pluses, I learned to use the easy angle and companion angle and I had never worked with flying geese that small.

Also, I like seeing yours done without borders. I think I am going to have to go that route. Otherwise, it will be too wide for my quilt frame. I have learned that I am one who thinks a quilt is not complete without a border so I am struggling with this. Seeing yours confirms that this one does not need that border so I just need to "git-r-done" so that I can mark it off my list. Thanks for sharing!
