I love both of them. I like the idea of the hope for the label.

my daughter is a school teacher and at Christmas time they all get together for a little party and minor gift exchanges. as she never has much money to spare, i offered to make her something simple like a pot holder or hot pad to give to each one. one of her teacher friends has breast cancer and undergoing treatments so the big word for all of them is HOPE. so therefore she wants me to make her hot pads in pale pink fabric with hot pink thread with just the magic word: HOPE on them, she only wants 20 of them. so maybe i'll come up with some clever way to do them. any suggestions? here's a pic of a candle mat i made, maybe couple circles on a hot pad with the word encircled in there somewhere.

a Christmas candle mat.

Great quilt and table runner. Love the word HOPE for the label, and the year and city.

The candle mat/hot pad looks good, too.
