As Dunster explained, it is an actual quilt designed by Jen Kingwell called “Long Time Gone”, I think she is Australian. She has written more than 20 quilt patterns but they are much like assembling a puzzle. It was a sew along project our Modern Quilt guild did.

Thank you for the compliments, I used fabrics from my stash and even did some fussy cutting. I will post more photos down the road. The nice thing about finally having my own LA machine is I can leave the quilt on and go at my leisure...whereas, I had rented by the hour for years and usually did edge to edge just to get the quilting done. It looks fabulous! I'm about to start my LTG quilt, so you've given me some inspiration. I plan to use blues and beiges from stash as I have a lot of them. Thanks for posting!
