I showed this as a quilt top about 6 months ago. It was my very first one, so I was anxious to show it to you all. Then I sent it to the quilter, leaving only the binding to do. Well, I folded it in such a way that the edges didn't show and put it on the end of my bed- even covered up with it a time or two, with the raw edges hanging out. Why would I do that? Because I had moved onto other projects- since then I have made about 5 quilts! All of them are finished and on to their intended recipient, but my own sat unfinished- I just couldn't seem to get it done. Oh well, it's done now and I'm pretty proud of it. It's just a simple framed 9 patch from www.about.com

I must have missed this the first time around. It is very nice. Glad you finally got around to binding it.

It is lovely. There are too many projects and too little time to do them. We all have "almost done" projects :-). This is beautiful and now it is done!!

Oh its very nice. Love the colors you used. For whatever reason I find sewing the binding and putting on the label hard. I just dont want to do it even though it makes the quilt 'FINISHED'. Your quilt is just stunning.

Your quilt is lovely. I'm with you on finishing. I don't mind doing the binding, it's just getting started. I have several projects here, just waiting for that last little bit of finishing. Including the baby quilt for my new grand son who is due in about 3 weeks!

You did a great job and now it's done. I think that we put everyone else quilt ahead of ours, even starting more. I've been quilting about 8 years, but haven't got MY quilt done as far as quilting, I've had the blocks done for 2-3 years though. But, I have decided that after I finish quilting this one quilt that I'm donating to a horse rescue, that I'm going to finish MY quilt. I don't mind doing the binding, it's the quilting that I'm leary of.
