Default finally a new baby joining the family

We haven't had a new baby in the family in 12 years...my neice is expecting in July- a girl- so, lucky me, i get to make a couple baby quilts

this one was just an easy, fluffy soft one for baby to lay on the floor/ play on- the 4" squares are flannel, the strips of purple one side/white other side as some strips of minky i have left from a different project- it's all scraps- flannel borders, cotton batting- it's very soft/fluffy
I am working on an appliqued (special) quilt too, but this one is done- used some more scraps up- i like how it turned out.

They are so pretty, and the baby will love them, and everyone is going to have a big time with the new little one.

that's 2 pictures of ONE quilt- each side of the same quilt- not 2 separate quilts.

Wow! That is really cool. I like how you have the purple strips in between the raggy squares, very neat idea.
