Default Finally this one is off to the long arm quilter's...

I loved working on this quilt for my son and his wife. I have had it finished for some time now, but it was way too big for me to finish on my quilt table. And to tell the truth, I wanted better quilting on it then my skills would provide. So off to the long armer's house it went today for some custom quilting.

I am so excited to see it finished. This was a BOM quilt top from Going Batty quilt shop. I will never forget the first time I saw a prototype up on the wall in thier shop. It stopped me in my tracks! Then when I saw all the lovely homey words printed in the fabrics, that was it for me. I had to make it.

I hope you like it too.

I forgot to tell you, each basket is a different pattern. It was a challenge but, I think I got it right.

This is a small picture of what the whole quilt looks like. I did turn the outside baskets to the outside edges to where it can be turned either way for the top.
