    Finally something to show!

I am making a quilt for my DGD's kindergarten teacher. Just thought of it Monday so in a hurry to get it done before school is out in a week.

It is a pattern that a local quilt shop made up.

I like the pattern and your fabric choices. What kind of borders are you going to put on it?
A fabric stash is always missing that one fabric needed to finish the quilt on which you're working.

Also wonder about how the wreaths were done. Lovely quilt! Especially like the visual of the strings abutting in the HS triangles.

Thanks everyone. The fabrics were in a kit (her fav color is blue) and yes I machine embroidered the feathered wreaths. It is a built in design on my Bernina. No boarders, just binding. It is 58 X 64.

I am going to piece the back with the leftover blocks and a pretty tiny floral fabric.

What a pretty quilt for someone who teaches our children. What a wonderful gesture on your part. Love your white blocks with the feathered wreaths.
