Ditto re the beauty of this little gem. As for DH's & fabric stashes, only on a need to know basis... LOL!

That is so pretty. I love the colors and your quilting is gorgeous.
BTW, don't worry about DH and your stash. Here is a video with some nice tips on that subject.http://youtu.be/OKiiOH5oJfs

Really? Only 6 months? Wow...you did a fantastic job. It is a lovely quilt and someday a new little girl in your life is going to love it.

heh heh thanks...the tips about measuring from the centre of the quilt are really good, so thanks for that. I just cut the width I wanted then sewed them in place-any left over was trimmed...but thinking about it I may have not cut them with and against the grain- you know two lenghts with and two lengths against the grain, well thats what it told me in the book I read,to keep the quilt rigid I think- but I may have had a senior moment and forgot and just did them all the one way...oops. I used double binding all the way round.
I really loved the comments about DH- yes agree, they dont have to know everything!!

Pat- just saw the link you posted up...OMG I thought that was so true!!! I am not that bad yet...but give me time!

You know my favorite thing is putting the colours together which I love- I could spend hours laying them all out and moving them around..I have to work on my making up though-I absolutely hate ripping seams which happens regularly and keeping measurements exact too is very hard!!
