This is the other quilt I have been working on and put the last stitch on the label @ 11:15 pm last night so my friend and I could give it to our friend today @ church. This man and his dear wife were in our small group until she had lymphoma and pasted away several years ago! We still miss her! About a year ago he met a dear Christian woman who has brought joy back in his life and they are now engaged and will marry sometime in October. They both lost their spouses to cancer about the same time. Anyway, years ago I promised him a quilt and thought it was time to make good on my promise. My friend Dianne made the middle section of the quilt and I made the log cabin blocks. I put the quilt together and quilted and bound it. I think it turned out pretty well.

My friend professional embroidery machine did a wonderful job on the AF logo.

The log cabin set really shows off the fussy pieces. Beautiful.

Beautiful! What is in the center sections of the log cabins? It looks like eagles.

As a retired AF member, I would be proud to have it!

This is beautiful! What a special quilt! Maybe I'll make something similar for my brother-in-law that is in the Army. Are the flags and stars embroidered like the logo is? I wonder if there is fabric out there that would have a panel or something like that that would work since I don't have an awesome friend that embroiders! Hmmm . . .
