I had a productive day while it snowed and blowed outside. This block has 315 pieces in it and I am glad all the blocks are now done. The border is supposed to have 32 flowers, I am thinking about doing a much simpler border- maybe just have flowers in the corner,as I really want to get on to hand quilting it. I will post pics as I start piecing it together.

block is 18 inches

Holy frijole! That's a WHOLE lot of pieces for each block! No wonder you're glad to be done with it! It's beautiful--can't wait to see it all put together and quilted!

Hi: Chris here. The sample I just viewed is awesome!! I can't imagine how you perservered. May I ask how long you have been working on this quilt? Do the 18" blocks make is easier to piece? Will you be hand or machine quilting? When I try to machine quilt the project does "its own thang"!!!!

   That is a terrific looking block! I have long admired Baltimore quilts, but it had never occurred to me to turn the curvy, applique into straight lines and doing it in pieces! That is really cool!
Thanks for sharing <wave>

Is that a Pam Bono pattern??? It looks alot like the one I've been working on gor about 3 yrs as a second/third WIP. The blocks are 18" finished and have from 187 pcs to 326 pcs. Your block is beautiful...keep us posted.
