beautiful quilt, great colours.
I'm glad you stepped outside the box, the black works perfect with the other colours

It's beautiful...I can almost smell the fall leaf pile burning! So pretty.

This is so pretty, you did a great job sewing it. I have original fabric from the 1930's and can't bare to cut into it yet. I keep finding patterns to use it on, but never do. Maybe one day.....

What a stunning quilt! It's a real show stopper & well worth using your "good" fabric on. To answer your question, yes, I have "good" fabric that I don't to use. Unfortunately, I only have a yard of mine & have had it since the 1990's (yes, I'm THAT old... LOL!). I bought it on a lark & then when I realized how much I loved it, I went back to my LQS & they'd sold it all. Waaaaaaaaaaah! So, so much for that. I just cherish what I have. Maybe someday I'll be inspired to use it to as fabulous affect as you did with yours. Thank you for sharing this gorgeous quilt with us!
