Ugh, done, I quilted the monster yesterday. Everything kind of went to you know where when I added the borders, which rippled, everything was so stretchy. Then I realized one side of backing was too short to flip for cheater binding and I had to add some fabric back on (thank goodness for the print, you really can't tell). I think it'll be good after a wash/dry. The thing that saved me from throwing the whole thing in the garbage was spray adhesive instead of basting/pinning, I love that stuff. I did SITD around some of the pinwheels & just outlined the borders. At any rate, I'm off to deliver it to the fire dept now & I hope it makes them some money & that someone I know wins it for a Christmas gift :)

Anyone else so totally tired of looking at a quilt after you finally finish it? This has got to go, no matter how much I thought I'd want one like it for myself, no way, lol!

I love this quilt! It is beautiful. I have the twister on my Christmas list. Is this quilt made with the small twister or the large one?

It might have been a bear to do but it did turn out very pretty.

Love b/w especially when it's popped with red. You did a fantastic job. I just finshed one that I quilted fine, but had many problems when I sent out to a longarmer (will post story shortly).

I know they will love this quilt!! :-D

WOW - looks so complicated - but very comfy! Hope it raises a lot of money. Thanks for showing this to us.

This quilt will surely raise lots of $$ for the fire dept. Love the fabrics - esp. the 'flames' of red

You may be sick of it but it's the prettiest one I have seen. Would like to enter the raffle because I would love the quilt. Can't see a thing wrong with it.
