I am a volunteer for an organization - I used to be an employee - well I made a lot of friends over the years and my leaving the paid position to be a "boss" and volunteer has been hard on one of my friends because she doens't have me to help her with the case load.

She is older than me (late 60's) and I don't think she is really into flowers but I saw all of these colors and patterns and they reminded me of her.

We have had a rough month getting ready for our bi-annual meeting and I"m giving this to her tomorrow...I hope it makes her smile!!!

The pattern was sewn on backwards but I liked the colors they way they laid out so I left the mixed up pattern alone

back - I used a pale yellow thread and you can't really see the quilt design I used

I know - I love it - I'm going to make her a tote bag to go with it since I'm all packed and ready to leave!
