I love the 30's fabrics and your quilt is awesome with your mom's blocks. What do you call the quilt blocks. In some places it looks like 4 patch and then?????

Where did you get the embrordiary squares. Are they hand sewn or machine? I am going on a long car trip and would love to have some hand embrordiary squares to put into a quilt. Any ideas????

Wow I love the way that turned out you have created an heirloom for your kids even though you made it for mom. It was made by two generations of women and will be past down one day, make sure your children know its history maybe put a little about it on quilt label .This is a very special quilt.
