I joined the Sunbonnet Sue Swap back in January and committed to making 12 Sues for the month of March. I had never done applique before, so I was a little (read that A LOT) intimidated by the idea, but I love SBS so I wanted to do it. I looked at some U-Tube tutorials and some on here for applique and once I got into it I really enjoyed it. I made each one a little different, whether it was the colors or stitching or whatever. I've attached a couple. It was fun ... reminded me of playing with paper dolls.

I am embarrassed at how my stitching came out  But time prevents me from redoing and since it is a calender I can't drop out
Congrats on yours they are so nice
