Is not trapunto. I used wool batting and it puffs up without the need for trapunto.!!![/quote]

I thought it looked puffed up! That's why I love it so! Know what you mean about using other people's designs. It is so easy to design something I just wish other people were like you and wd try it! :D

I have an Artista 630. It is a great machine and I would recommend it to anyone. It was given to me almost new and I have nothing to complaint about with this machine. For doing this kind of work I used my open toe darning foot. Many people recommend the closed toe, but your stitches are so small and there is no applique, so the open one is better to see where are you going.

I am in total love with the 830; yes, the one that costs as much as a car, but I may never own one.

I can not use the BSR when doing those small stitches. I like my machine to move fast while I move slow, and with the BSR the speed of the machine is related to the speed you move at. If I use it the stitches look uneven to me.

Thanks for all the nice comments. I have to confess: I am seriously addicted to this little ones.
