This cat quilt is for my GD's first birthday. The top is done and all I've got to do is get busy and get it finished by her birthday party, Aug 17.

Very nice! I bought 6 of the prints from that collection, but in pinks and green.

I love the pattern that you used. Did you follow one, or is it your own design?

Oh I love the colors and the super cute monkey pattern! Now I know I need to get moving!! I have one who is 13 and I'm not any where near done with his quilt. :roll:

Since she is just going to be one I wanted a very simply pattern for her first big girl quilt. I printed off the pattern Simply Chic from marcusbrothers.com , then I teeked it.

cute, cute. My neice wants me to make a quilt for my great-neice when she gets in her big girl bed. That seems like a good pattern, and the material you picked is great. She is going to love it.

OHhhh I LOVE it!!! Adorable fabrics! great colors! and you did an awesome job on GD first big girl quilt!!! ROCK ON GRAMMA!! I think that's the cutest kitty cat fabric I've seen yet!
