it is gorgeous looks great

Great job. A lot of work but worth the effort. Very novel border that completes the quilt. Great choice.

The background is Kona Cotton in Ivory. I bought a bolt of it originally for the Dear Jane here but I found that after 4 blocks of the DJ, I didn't really have that great of an interest to do it. I also got 200 9"x11" pieces of Civil War repro fabrics for the DJ and used a lot of them in this quilt.

I should have enough CW pieces to do another quilt and always have my eye out for scrappy designs. I can't remember where I bought the bolt but it was a very good price for 15 yards, I believe. I will try and find an email receipt or something.
