I'm not laughing. We all need a place to start and you should be proud of your first effort. Keep it as a reminder of how far your quilting will take you. I still have the first quilt I ever made and it's looking a little sad. I was going to mend it but now I think that I'll recreate it. I actually found a shoe box full of the same pieces that I hadn't used in my first quilt and there is enough to make first quilt #2. My daughter still loves it as it has always been on her bed.
